The DC Bluegrass Union held their annual Fall Concert on Saturday, November 14th. The sold out show featured bluegrass stalwarts the Gibson Brothers and up and coming Maryland-natives Chester River Runoff. At the conclusion of the show, the DCBU announced, with much fanfare, the birth of the First Annual DC Bluegrass Festival. The event will be held on March 27, 2010 and already boasts a strong preliminary lineup featuring Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Bill Emerson & Sweet Dixie, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, and more.
