WAMU’s Bluegrass Country is now on air at 93.5 FM in Frederick and Hagerstown, Md.
The expansion of the coverage area for WAMU’s Bluegrass Country was made possible through the acquisition of signal translators, formerly owned by Family Stations, Inc., in Frederick and Hagerstown. The FCC granted the station consent to purchase the translators in a deal that was finalized on March 14.
WAMU’s Bluegrass Country now reaches a potential audience of 2.4 million listeners via analog radio in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
