In honor of Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out’s new song ‘Me and Dad’, from the band’s latest self-titled CD on Rural Rhythm Records, WAMU’s Bluegrass Country, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out and Rural Rhythm Records are hosting a contest! All you need to do is send us your favorite ‘Me And Dad’ story (stories about your father or about being a dad).
Rules and Prizes: The deadline for entries is June 16th and winners will be chosen by WAMU’s Bluegrass Country on June 17th. Your entry must include your dad’s name and your name, address, email and phone number. Please email written entries to Jerad Walker at jwalker@wamu.org. If you wish to present your story in spoken word, please call WAMU’s Bluegrass Country at (202) 885-8863 and leave a message with your name, contact information, and story.
All stories will be entered to win 2 tickets to any Russel Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out Concert, a copy the CD self-titled CD by Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, which includes the song “Me and Dad” on Rural Rhythm Records, and a t-shirt and baseball cap. 3 winners will be randomly selected on Wednesday June 17th at 9 a.m. By sending us your email or leaving a message you are giving WAMU permission to broadcast your story and mention your name on the air.
