Jen Hitt and Echo spent July 4th at the Snowshoe Bluegrass Festival in West Virginia!
Hey Folks!
We managed to survive without our cell phones (just barely) and had a great time at Snowshoe Bluegrass Festival. Be sure to stay tuned for a live set from Russell Morre & IIIrd Tyme Out and Cadillac Sky on Open Mic.
Here’s a quick photo slideshow. To see the extended (and silly) version, visit our Flickr Set.

We caught up with Larry Cordle on Saturday morning.

The Goldmine Pickers had a great Saturday noon set.

Beautiful!!

Missey was one of the Snowshoe Events staff who helped make the weekend fabulous!

The Gold Wing Express bus, trailer, car, and TV. If only it was KITT backing out of that trailer…
Incidentally, there were three bands with the word Gold in the title this weekend: Gold Heart, Goldmine Pickers, and Gold Wing Express.

Cadillac Sky showed up for their 7:30 p.m. set, stunned and stretching. They immediately put Echo & Jen Hitt to work in the Wardrobe Advice Department…

Matt Menefee gave us option no. 1 with a black tie. Bryan Simpson was our toughest customer in the Wardrobe Advice Department, this is outfit option no. 3 of 12. Shoe expert, Jen Hitt, advised David Mayfield to stick with the Vans instead of the Dr Martens.

Not sure what’s going on here… perhaps Matt incorrectly guessed which Tony Rice song is Echo’s favorite. Regardless, this tie is better than the black one.

Trent Wagler & The Steel Wheels finished up the weekend with a Sunday afternoon set. That’s Analise and Shelby from Gold Heart looking on.

Just in case you were wondering…
Cheers,
Jen Hitt
