For over 55 years he was a friendly voice on country and bluegrass radio stations in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. And although he’d never tell you, he was considered by many to be a legend in the country music broadcasting industry.
But here at WAMU he was simply a colleague and dear friend.
