Bluegrass Overnight
Sunday 3 A.M., ET and Thurs. Midnight, ET
Bluegrass Overnight was a show that aired on WAMU 88.5 Channel 1 until September 16, 2007. The show evolved from WAMU’s 40-hour weekend “bluegrass marathons” back in the 1970s and featured a rotating cast of hosts including; Bob Webster, Tom “Cat” Reeder, Gary Henderson, Lisa Kay Howard, Lee Michael Demsey, and Bill Foster. When WAMU’s Bluegrass Country increased it’s programming in the Fall of 2007 the decision was made to give all the rotating hosts their own shows and hours during the day.
