Washington is home to a huge community of musicians. You may have heard some of them perform; others are just waiting to be discovered. Every Wednesday night professionals and hopefuls alike show up at Fireflies in the Del Ray section of Alexandria for a few minutes on stage. Rockledge, a band of four bluegrass musicians, will host an Open Mic experience for a dozen Washington-area musicians on LIVE radio. Host Katy Daley will emcee this parade of musicians including Akira Otsuka, Speedy Tolliver & John Kaparakis, and Bob Webster.
