Songs of wartime separation start us out and conclude with a joyful reunion between Rose Maddox and a sailor. The fox outruns the hounds for awhile, and the Louvins, Coopers, McReynolds, Carters, Carvers, Johnsons, Stonemans and Lillys help fill out the rest of our time.
