Due to the concern about possible spread of coronavirus disease in the Washington area, this show has been postponed. We will let you know when it’s rescheduled.

Bluegrass Country is proud to present a special bluegrass benefit performance by Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass, with food and beverages by The Tabard Inn, on Sunday April 5.

Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass play powerful, unadorned, and intense traditional bluegrass. Their combination of instrumentation and vocals convey the energy and emotion of classic bluegrass and country music. Danny’s lead vocals combine a powerful range and soulful blues with a sound like no one else in bluegrass today. The IBMA 2016 vocalist of the year, he’s played professionally for more than 40 years.

Southern Grass is a band in the finest family tradition, with Danny’s son Ryan on mandolin, and brothers T.J. and Bobby Lundy on fiddle and bass.  Mark Delaney, formerly with Randy Waller and the Country Gentlemen, and Darren Beachley & Legends of the Potomac, plays banjo.

Washington’s Tabard Inn is famous as a “cozy and classy” venue near DuPont Circle.  In addition to being the oldest continuously operating hotel in the city, its kitchen is known for inspired dishes created with local, fresh and seasonal ingredients.

The show is 5 to 7 pm at The Tabard Inn, 1739 N Street NW in Washington, DC.  All proceeds go to the Bluegrass Country Foundation, to continue to provide programming on Bluegrass Country Radio.  A limited number of seats are available, so get your tickets now by going to our Ticket Center, and join us for a fantastic evening of music, food and fun.
