Claire Lynch, Man About a Horse, the Gina Furtado Project and the best mid-Atlantic bands take the stage March 28 at the 2020 DC Bluegrass Festival.

A highlight of the event is the Mid-Atlantic Bluegrass Band Contest, giving local bands the change to compete for cash prizes as well as applause.

The festival will be held at The Falls Church Episcopal at 115 E. Fairfax St. in Falls Church, VA.  It kicks off with the band contests at noon, and each of the featured bands will pay an afternoon and an evening set.  Bring your instrument, for jamming through the event.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.  Early bird tickets are $25 through December 30.  For news and updates, check the festival website.

The DC Bluegrass Festival is sponsored by the DC Bluegrass Union (DCBU), a nonprofit organization serving the bluegrass music community in the Washington, DC area.
