Stained Glass Bluegrass, the Sunday morning gospel music show, has been on the air for 55 years on WAMU and Bluegrass Country. Currently hosted by Cindy Baucom, it’s our most popular show, with loyal listeners around the world.
To show our appreciation to our listeners and supporters, Bluegrass Country is teaming with the Lucketts Bluegrass Foundation to host Stained Glass Bluegrass LIVE on Sunday, April 12 at the Old Lucketts Schoolhouse near Leesburg, Virginia.
This special event will feature live music from the Larry Stephenson Band, and Cindy Baucom will be on hand recording a Stained Glass Bluegrass show to be aired the following week.
There’s no charge – this is a listener appreciation event and not a fundraiser. You’ll be part of the audience for a unique live event, meet Cindy and other Bluegrass Country staff and volunteers, and spend Sunday morning enjoying some great bluegrass gospel music live and on record.
Doors will open at 9 o’clock on Sunday morning April 12. After a light continental breakfast, the show will begin at 10 o’clock. A detailed schedule will be sent with your tickets.
