“Come on in My Kitchen” (Red Molly)! The night after Thanksgiving is just as delicious. “Hot Tamale Baby” (the Red Stick Ramblers) won’t be the only delight cooking as the Craig Harris Show (Friday 10 PM – Saturday 1 AM) continues to romp through the bluegrass, newgrass, old-time, and Americana alphabet by focusing on artists whose name begins with the letter “R.” There’ll be an “Old Cow Crossing the Road” (Reed Island Ramblers) while “Minor Swing” will be interpreted by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli (the Hot Club of France); the David Grisman Quintet, and the Hot Club of Cowtown. The spotlight will focus on Jerry Reed (1937-2008), Ola Belle Reed (1916-2002), Leon Redbone (1949-2019), and Red Knuckles & the Trailblazers. The namesake of Lou Reid & Carolina will be heard with Auldridge, Reid, & Coleman; the Seldom Scene; Longview and Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver. Linda Ronstadt will be singing with Ann Savoy, Linda Lewis, the Stone Poneys, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, and Kate and Anna McGarrigle. Don’t miss it!
