Jake Shimabukuro is a humble master of the ukulele, whose mission is to connect and inspire people. Hawaii-born Shimabukuro melds elements of pop and jazz into his passionate ukulele performances, emoting pure joy with virtuosic flair. He’ll share the stage with another prodigious talent, mandolin star Sierra Hull. Hull has been inspiring awe and garnering critical acclaim since the age of 11. Although her roots are in bluegrass, her inspired works defy genres.
Shimabukuro and Hull appear on Thursday, February 13 at 8 pm at The Music Center at Strathmore, 5301 Tuckerman Lane in Bethesda, MD. Bluegrass Country is giving away a pair of tickets to this exciting show.
